June Monthly Goal Review

June felt like a good month. We'll see what the numbers show, but I feel like I managed to accomplish a decent amount of things. Details behind the cut.
--Earn 30XP a day on Duolingo. Try to complete one "topic" a day.
---No missed days in June!
--Practice French and Polish twice a week, practice Hawaiian, Esperanto, and German once a week. I might change this later, but for now I will keep this format in hopes of making progress on all five languages.
---I stuck to my practice schedule this month.
--Complete 15 units in French (Unit 17 of Section 8), complete 10 units in Polish (Unit 3 of Section 4), complete 5 units in Hawaiian (Unit 30 of Section 2), complete 5 Legendary units in Esperanto (Unit 30 of Section 2), complete 5 units in German (Unit 6 of Section 3).
---I don't think my goals are accurate here anymore, since so many of the courses got adjusted. I played with the numbers the best I could, so this is what I'm going to use from now on. I finished the German goal; Polish, Hawaiian, and Esperanto are all close to being completed; French has a ways to go but I think I can still make it on time for that one.
--Purchase a gym membership (completed Jan 3). Go to the gym at least twice a week. I expect this one will need an adjustment period, since this is new this year and the time commitment is going to be tricky to figure out.
---Failed again this month. In July, I'm going to try to go frequently for a shorter period of time and focus mainly on cardio. I don't know how well this will work, but I'm going to give it a try.
--Do yoga every day except Mondays. However, if I don't do yoga on a day I go to the gym, I'll be okay with that.
---7 missed days in June which is better than May but still not ideal.
--Make a weekly post on Thursdays and make the Comfort Corner posts on the first third and fifth Sundays of the month.
---I missed two Thursday posts but all three of my Sunday posts were on time.
--Cook once a week. I may need to try making things to freeze, so that I can have more variety in my meals and can stick to this goal better.
---I cooked every week, but I still don't have a clear plan. Winging it is going okay, but is less than ideal for long term ease and sustainability.
--Do the dishes Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays as well as after any cooking or baking I do.
---I only missed three days of dishes, and I had two "extra" days in there, so June was actually pretty good on this front.
--Water daily and weed weekly during the growing season (May to September probably).
---I missed two weeks of weeding, which is not great, but the gardens look passable, so it could be worse. I'm going to try to do some trimming, tidying, and dead-heading in July, but we'll see how that pans out. I didn't water the plants every day, but I feel like I got them most days, which is good enough for me. None of them seem to have died of thirst, so that's a good sign.
--$X/week in savings.
---Success for June!
--Donate to charity once a month. Create the list by January 15. (List created Jan 2)
---Done for June.
--Read one book a month. Make a list by January 15. (List created Jan 2)
---I read "Irresistible You" and "A Confusion of Princes" in June. Both were very good books, although quite different from each other. The first is a romance novel about a female owner of a hockey team and one of the players, while the second book is a sci-fi/fantasy novel set in outer space with a rather questionable rule and ruling class. I had fun reading both books, although I did read "Irresistible You" in the middle of reading my other book. XD
--Play flute once a month.
---Done in June. I played four songs from my "Popular Hits" music book.
--Participate in at least one bingo fest. Tentatively, the Valentine's fest looks most promising, though a few others look intriguing as well.
---I made a card for the Pride Bingo fest. I had a few ideas for prompts but didn't manage to fill anything. I'm still hoping to go back and work on old cards, if I get a chance, so there is hope for those prompts.
--Work on old bingo cards.
---No progress in June.
--Finish socks. (Done in May)
---I finished my socks! They look really good and they fit and I'm so happy I finally finished them! :D
--Do one knit or crochet project. I have several ideas for this, so hopefully I can achieve this early.
---I started my basket, the ravenclaw baby blanket, and the hexagon deer baby blanket. None are finished yet, but I'm making good progress on them, and still have time before the deadline for the two baby blankets.
--Get one colour of fabric cut for my quilt.
---No progress still, sadly.
--Join one crafting class. A local art store offers options, so hopefully I will find something that catches my eye.
---I haven't found a class yet, but I may want to find one of the wine and paint nights, if I can.
--Complete one puzzle.
---No new puzzles completed, though I did just buy a rainbow bird puzzle that I'm excited to build.
--Take one "me" day a month. Hopefully I can plan these better this year and actually get more benefit out of them.
---I managed to fit in a "me" day this month. I took a Monday off work and spent most of the day reading, including the time I spent at the mall with my sister, then I relaxed in the evening and watched the Stanley Cup finals. It was a much needed day and I'm glad I had the ability to do it.
--Go rock climbing or do a ropes course. This might be one I can do with my sister, which will make it extra fun.
---I went rock climbing again this month with my boyfriend. It was a lot of fun, and the activity was needed, since we spent most of the rest of that day eating. XD
--Do one outside activity a month.
---I went to multiple festivals this month that were outside, and I went to a Provincial Park with my sister.
--Answer DW comments as I get them. Answer 5 per weekend to clear any backlog that may accumulate.
---I missed a few weekends here, but I only have three unanswered comments at the moment, so I'm not doing terribly.
--Fill in wall calendar with all recurring goals by January 15. (Done Jan 2)
--Improve inter-personal and intra-personal skills. I don't have a plan for this yet, but this feels like a weak area to me and I'd like to shore it up.
---Nothing here yet.
--Determine whether finding a new therapist or other mental health professional would be beneficial. Make a plan with concrete steps to improve at least one slice of the Circle of Life.
---No movement here.
--Mark daily tasks as they are completed. Write a monthly goal review at the end of each month.
---I'm still forgetting to mark things as I do them, but I feel like I am improving at marking things same-day. I may put the calendar in an even more visible spot next year, but so far the back of my door has been the most convenient of everything I've tried.
--Do one seasonal activity each season.
---I have not yet done summer's seasonal activity, though it shouldn't be too hard to do.
--**--Random fun activity for June: June had a lot of local festivals and fairs that were fun to go to, so I feel like I did a lot of fun things this month.
All in all June was a pretty good month. Now I just have to figure out how to balance my hobbies and my physical fitness and I'll be good to go. Even better if I could fit in some mental health time as well.
