Weekly Update

Hello everyone! This week has been pretty decent. I have managed to get a decent amount of things done, although I am learning that if I want to have leisure time before work, I only really have time for 2 to 3 other acivities. Seeing as how I greatly enjoy my leisure time, I am trying to cycle my "extra" activities so that I have time to relax but am still able to accomplish things. Done this week: I went through old records and got rid of what was no longer needed; I did yoga most of the required days; I cooked my lunches and also baked a Gluten-free coffee loaf to share with my friend; I did the dishes, though not as often as I should have; I played 5 songs on my flute; and, I picked most of the outfits I need for my trip to Nashville in a few weeks.
Over the weekend, I had a whole lot of fun doing glow in the dark curling with my good friends and bf and had fun at a local hockey game with my bf the next day. I've never done glow in the dark curling, but our team was a whole lot of fun and the glowing colours were very cool, though they wreaked havock on our depth perception.
Coming up, I have lunch with my good friend tomorrow, a birthday party on Saturday, and an out of town yarn fair on Sunday. I don't really need more yarn but I love all the pretty colours and I am going to shop with a plan this time.
In the next little while, I need to finalize my yarn plan, clean out my car and get an oil change, verify my packing plan for Nashville, and try to actually work on my fiber crafts, which I've been grossly neglecting.
March has been a very busy but fun month, and I'm looking forward to what April has in store. :D I hope you all are doing well and enjoying the very beginning of spring!

DANGER WILL ROBINSON
Date: 2025-03-21 10:16 pm (UTC)I'm being serious like a heart attack. Unless you HAVE TO, *do* *not* *go* *to* Amerikkka.
ICE are grabbing ANYONE, INCLUDING CANADIANS, stuffing them into camps, no due process, no nothing.
I can get receipts if you want. But trust you me. that place is utter dangerous chaos right now, and y'all are deliberately prevented from seeing - not by your own, but by the Amerikaanse media...

Date: 2025-03-21 11:58 pm (UTC)That sounds awesome.
I've been collecting ideas for art yarn that aren't knit/crochet so I can buy fun yarn when I wish. I have most of what I need to make a wall hanging or two, but I still need to find finials and jumbo beads.

I'm into spring planting here. \o/ One nursery has already cited early April for shipping, so that's good. We picked up some bare-root things today too. :D

Oh, very nice! It isn't planting weather here yet, but I should be able to start cleaning up leftover leaves and weeds from the fall in the next weeks.
