Weekly Update

This one is a little late, but Thursday was super hot and frustrating, then yesterday was busier than expected. It's been an okay week overall, if a bit on the warm side. I've managed to do my Duolingo and most of my yoga, but reading fanfic is still consuming most of my time. I'm not very good at separating what I want to do from what I need to do, or even switching between two tasks I both enjoy. This unfortunately means that there are a lot of things that I've been ignoring lately and I'm not quite sure how to fix that.

Last weekend I went camping with my boyfriend and we had a great time despite having a holey air mattress the forst night and a bit of rain the second night. We got to the beach and did a lot of walking though, and spent quality time together, so it was a very good trip. Yesterday I had lunch with my good friend and my boyfriend, which was very nice since we don't get to do that too often.

Coming up, I'm going to a rodeo tomorrow with my boyfriend and I'm going to try to get into the garden to do some weeding. I really need to focus on getting back on track this week and trying to make progress on more of my goals.

It was a lot of fun! Unfortunately, I forgot my sunscreen and there wasn't any shade, so I ended up with a bit of sunburn and a little heat sick.

Congrats on the Duolingo! We’ve got a stuck fronter. Poor soul’s been stuck for nearly four months. That’s why nobody’s been around much. He says you may add him if you want. He’s DW cheliceri.
But anyway, I’m here helping him so trying to catch up on our reading list too.
Was the rodeo awesome? Sounds like it would be.

Hello! Mostly I've been reading in the Harry Potter fandom lately, but I also enjoy the Marvel Universe and Sherlock Holmes, though the latter doesn't often have many stories. I also quite enjoy reading ysabetwordsmith's Polychrome Heroics series, though that one isn't fanfic.

Thanks! I'm very happy with my progress on Duolingo. Oh no, that sounds unpleasant. I hope he can get unstuck soon, if that's what he'd like. I'll look for his journal. :)
The rodeo was so much fun! I especially enjoyed the pole bending and barrel racing. The bronc and bulling riding are fun to watch too, although they make me way more nervous about a poor cowboy getting stomped on.
