I'm happy to run the pool this month, unless ng_moonmoth would prefer to run it. My targets are finishing "Everyone Can Dance" ($15.50), the Lincoln poems (a total of $213.50 at half-price, which comes to $106.75 at quarter price), and any Shiv ones at all, with a focus on the ones relating to the Chyou incident.

I have enough money personay to cover the last of "Everyone Can Dance", and the Lincoln poems. If there is any interest, we can pick Shiv poems as funds come available. As always, if you have the full amount for the poem and are just looking to get the pool discount, you have full say over which poem(s) you buy. If you are contributing bits, it might be open to popular opinion, though I am flexible on which poems to sponsor and have a bit of wiggle room for helping out.

Aim to have the funds to me by Friday on Saturday at dinner time, and I will deliver the funds to Ysabet bright and early Sunday morning so we can get our poems. I hope we can buy lots of poetry this month!

I don't have any targets that are grabbing me for sponsorship right now, but wouldn't mind pitching in for Broken Angels or the Fortressa thread if we can finish off "What Survives the Whole Process" as part of the deal. I'll take another look and offer some suggestions soon.

Perfect! I'm up for sponsoring the Fortessa poems, but I'm a little lacking on funds. I'd really like to be able to sponsor the third Broken Angels poem, because dialecticdreamer has poems in that thread too, and they should go together nicely. Sponsoring all three means I'm close to my max, though I am hoping to get some more people interested, and I can repurpose the funds for "Everyone Can Dance" if necessary.

I'm willing to see how things go, and we have time before any decisions need to be made. :)

OK, took a look at how things stand. If I've worked out the other commitments right, something in the neighborhood of $65.50 might finish off "What Survives the Whole Process". I'd add $36.50 to that to get the next Fortressa poem in the sequence. So I'm going to pencil in a pledge of $102.

If I sent you that much, where would that leave the pool in terms of what has already been reserved and the two Fortressa poems I mentioned? Pledge can be adjusted, depending.

I'm going to double check my math later today, but my first calculation tells me that you donation of $102 gives us an extra $15. Feel free to double check that yourself, since I just did my math real quick and might have missed something.

After double checking, my original calculation was right; we only need $87.50 to finish the wanted poems, including the ones you want. That leaves $14 extra if you put in $102. Now, you could put in just the $87.50 if you like, but the next Fortressa poem, "Thrust to the Level" is $40.50, which makes it $20.25 at quarter price. That would only need $6 to be completed; either through more pool interest, a little extra from you, or a little extra from me. I'm flexible whichever way you want to do it.

Thanks for checking. Put me down for $107.75 to get "Thrust to the Level", too. Will hold for Friday to see whether more contributions come and another buy is possible.

Thank you! The tentative plan for her funds is to open "A Different Vision of Life" as a microfunded poem. I'm looking forward to being able to read this one, and there's $30 to get it started.

Sounds good :) I don't have any more specific targets yet, but once ng_moonmoth goes through and decides what xie would like, I should have a better idea. I'm also hoping there might be more donors which would mean even more poetry :D
