Holiday Sale!

ysabetwordsmith is having a holiday sale, where all of her poetry from the year is half price. Check it out, the price range varies wildly. ng_moonmoth has also said that xye will be hosting a pool, and I will be joining in on that. I'm not sure what xyr targets will be yet, but I know I'm largely interested in Polychrome Heroics, particularly Shiv, and I'm going to try to buy as much poetry as possible.

That's the biggest section by far: there are 23 Shiv poems on sale. \o/ Most of them stand alone, but there's a big chain at the top of the list that describes how he got into the Ebonies & Ivories, and some other pairs farther down.

I'm hoping to make a dent in them, though it will really depend what the pool is interested in. Most of the Shiv poems are large enough (even at quarter price) that I can't buy very many of them, especially since I'm usually most interested in the long ones. 😆 I'm hoping for a good deal of overlapping interest, so the money can stretch further.

Well, the ones in the pool so far are the short-to-medium ones that chain together.

If you look at the end of the epic list, though, "Wanting a Little of Everything" and "Those Tiny, Negative Elements" are Shiv poems.

Thank you for the heads up that the pool list is up! I shall take a look at it in the morning, my brain will be no good at anything right now. Bonus for me, their are lots of Shiv poems listed!

Yeah, the first three are other series but I think the other two thirds are Shiv things, including a set I would very much like to see published: his introduction to the Ebonies & Ivories.

I'm hoping for enough interested parties signing up to the pool that it can open a Really Big One -- one of the over-$200 at half price -- for microfunding at the end of the sale if a slot is available. I don't really have any favorites there, so if you said you wanted to do that to a Really Big Shiv One, I could see it.
