Continuing on from my first post, this instalment covers the "T": Temperament. These are your inborn preferences, how you like to do things. As I can't think of more of them off the top of my head, I'm just going to answer the questions in the article.
How do you recover energy: I am definitely an introvert. I like people but I often find them draining. Small groups definitely work better for me, where I can have a conversation with one or two people at a time.
Are you a planner or a go-with-the-flow type: I'm somewhere in the middle. I don't plan for every contingency, but I'm not one of those "everything happens at the right time and for a reason" type of people. I like to have a general outline, and I'll adapt it as I go.
Do you make decisions based more on feelings or thoughts and facts: I try to make decisions based on facts but sometimes my feelings overwhelm me. And even on the occasions where I can recognize this happening, I don't always have the ability, willpower, or desire to stop it. So it's kind of a combination of both, while doing my best to let logic prevail.
Do you prefer details or big ideas: Um. I'm not actually sure. I get bogged down in the details a lot, if it's my own thing, sometimes to the point of making a simple task daunting. If it's someone else's thing that I'm working on, I need a general idea of what's happening before being told the details. I guess I'm a details kind of person, as long as I have a context for the details first.
I may come back and add to this, if I think of more things but for now it's done. If you have any questions or suggestions, leave a comment below and I'll answer!
