I don't feel like spilling my guts all over the internet (again), but I'm feeling lonesome and in want of attention, and since I can be honest enough to admit that being seen and acknowldeged for who I am is something I need, I still want to spill my guts anyway.

Date: 2020-05-09 11:00 pm (UTC)I'm going to finally finish up a degree in psychology, but it might be slightly to spite this twit.

Date: 2020-05-10 12:40 am (UTC)Go you! Finishing a degree is no small thing, and if there's a little bit of spite in it, that's ok too.

Date: 2020-05-10 04:47 am (UTC)If you need to vent, I am here. DW DM, email, Discord (any form - text, voice, vid), Zoom, .... I don't have any carrier pigeons at the moment, but... :) (RFC 1149 describes - as an April fool - how to send Internet packets via pigeon, and some wag DID IT, and Mandelbear wrote a song about it...) I may not be bang-on interactive for the first message, but I will answer. And I have a fresh, unopened three-pack of Bounty to mop up any spills. ;)
Thank you for being you, and helping me make the world a little bit better, and making *my* world a little more bearable. *HUGS*

Date: 2020-05-10 02:20 pm (UTC)Thanks :) I... might take you up on that. Also, the pigeon bit made me smile.
Thank you for being awesome, and being you, and making everything a little better. *HUGS*

Re: RFC-1149
Date: 2020-05-11 01:36 am (UTC)I'm feeling a little better now, but I'm running low on ideas of how to cheer up, and how to get motivated.
Re: RFC-1149
Date: 2020-05-11 02:36 am (UTC)It was written for a woman who used to sell tiny origami dragons (and occasional other things) sitting on crystals.
Then there are the the parodies that N and I write of one another's songs, e.g. "A Tribute to the Middle-Aged Bear" I need to get a few more recordings up, don't I?

PM me whatever you want to about what's bothering you. I will listen regardless, and respond as you are up to it. And then, after you're done, haul the waste out to the (skip? dumpster? What's appropriate Canadian?), clean up what's left, and make a haggis.
Shannon sets down xyr project (spouse's summer top) and waves hi.
Re: I see you!
Date: 2020-05-10 02:23 pm (UTC)I just might do that. Depends on what my brain decides to do today. Dumpster works, although now I'm wondering where "skip" comes from.
J uncurls just enough to wave hi, and to wave her two grey and pink crochet squares in the air (though one is still in progress.)
Re: I see you!
Date: 2020-05-10 04:05 pm (UTC)It comes from Britain; it's the British English equivalent. "Dumpster" : "skip" :: "hood" : "bonnet :: "eraser" : "rubber", etc. And, Canada being more recently and strongly tied to England, I wasn't sure which term the local vernacular used.
