Comfort Corner

The carpet is thick, soft and cream coloured, while the walls are a yellow bronze colour. In the corner along one wall there is a large sofa, able to seat 4 or 5 people comfortably. Along the other corner wall there is a smaller sofa for 2 or 3 people. In the middle of the furniture, there is a low, round coffee table, perfect for colouring at or for other craft activities.

There is a scratching post and a cat tree for climbing, which are both along the wall opposite the couch. A few fluffy beds have also been put out, in varying sizes, in case any one prefers the floor. There is also a large sturdy perch and a marked off area that says "Landing Pad" in case any winged friends want to visit.

There is now a blue chaise chair in the nook as well, which has been placed near the couch and is good for both sitting and spreading out lengthwise.

There are two baskets off to the side. One contains fuzzy blankets, a variety of fuzzy and textured pillows, and a collection of stuffed animals while the other contains a variety of art supplies, ranging from colouring pages and blank paper to crayons and coloured pencils, and more besides.

Fuzzy J spreads out her yarn, crochet hooks, and laptop, then pulls up the websites and advice recommended for crocheting a basket. As she begins reading through everything, Kitty J darts over to a pile of pillows, cavorting around before curling up in a circle for a quick nap.

Fire comes out, trotting up and down the space, stopping ocassionally to sniff and snort at things before continuing on. Eventually she slows to a stop and looks around, toss her mane curiously, wondering if any friends will come and visit.

Trausio comes in, leading Sh'lainn companionably by the hand, and glancing over at Fire a moment, before laying out on the shaize, and closing ther eyes a moment.

Sh'lainn looks about for Kitty J, then finds her napping, and sits down quietly to watche her little friend until she wakes. She's brought a surprise toy this time, and is excited to see the reaction it gets.

Trausio, noticing the smell, rises to take a look, and grabs a cookie and a glass of tea before reseating herself again. This time on the larger couch as Errol comes to join her, sliding his arm around her shoulders and cuddling next to her with a sigh of relief; it's been a long day for him.

Fire tosses her head, then slowly makes her way over to Trausio and Errol. She sniffs the ground around them, then folds herself to lay down, her muzzles ending up a few inches from the two on the couch. She sighs out her breath and closes her eyes, enjoying being near people.

~Hi!~ Kitty J cracks her eyes open and pounces inro Sh'lainn's lap, purring and nuzzling against her, curious about the new toy.

Eroll chuckles softly; he's missed horses. Ever since his grandfather died, his contact with them had been deminished by people's lack of interest in their care. He reaches to rub under Fire's chin, and plucks an apple he'd somehow managed to hid in his pockets, and offers it on a flat palmed hand.

Sh'lainn giggles brigghtly at the nuzzles, then unrolls a string from around a stick, with a feathered bakll at the end that makes a sqeaking sound...almost like a small mouse. She tosses the string part, running it back and forth across the carpet, hoping Kitty J'd like the thing.

Craimar, called by Trausio's telepathic, ~switching places, love.~ comes in in owl form, having finished his darts in the cuddle party, and lands on the perch, folding his wings to rest there for the time being.

Fire whikers softly, then gently takes the apple from Errol. ~~Next time, outside, can run? Not ride yet, but run around, maybe brush, maybe saddle?~~

Kitty J watches the mouse for a couple seconds, tracking the wiggles, then darts away to pounce on the toy, loving the new game. ~!!! *calmhappypleased*~ Kitty J's thoughts tumble through, feeling good about Sh'lainn's giggles.

Fuzzy J walks over to Craimar, admiring his owl form and holding out a hand in case he is interested.

Errol is delighted, and lets out a soft laugh. ~Yes, of course. I would like that.~

Sh'lainn is happy that her friend is loving the new game, and her thoughts match the cats, ~contentedpleasedrelaxed~ She changes the game a bit by dangling it just above the ground so that Kitty J can get some jump-play in as weell.

Fire nuzzles Errol's hand, enjoying the company. ~~Good. Next time, run.~~

Kitty J reaches up to paw at it, but it's *just* too high. She sits down and stares at it for a few moments, then leaps up, tackling it in mid-air.

"I'm glad you like it here. It usually is less crowded, and I always like the company."

~That sounds like fun.~Errol dently strokes fire's noes, relaxing a bit more against trausio, who wraps a wing around him.
~Maybe I'll fly above you, while tyou run? Is that something you would bother you?~

Sh'lainn lets out a chuckle, then tugs the mous like a fishing line, enjoying the interaction wit hher kitty friend.

~As do we. 'smuch as we enjoy ysabet's space, sometimes I get twitchy 'cause I get crowd triggers sometimes. Somethin' ah be workin' on, but it still be there., ye ken me?~

Kitty J dances after the fishing line, enjoying the game with her friend.

"I don't have an issues with crowds myself, but as I'm an introvert, people can be a bit much sometimes. I definitely understand about triggers and too many people." Fuzzy J sends hug-like thoughts to all her guests, glad they feel comfortable in her space.

~No diving.~ Trausio sends a 'smile' to Fire, ~I only do that when people are comfortable with it.~

The 'hugs' come back to J from the guests there, including a bobcat shifter who's managed to sneak in and clame a bed as his own. Two stripes of black run from his ears down his back nearly to his tail, marking as someone J might recognize. He lays, head on his crossed front paws, surveying his people with mo amount of interest and curiosity as they interact with the various creatures in this space.

Fire whickers softly and sends contented thoughts back. She doesn't mind flying friends, as long as nobody is going to swoop down like an attack. She trusts these friends though, so she's not worried about it.

J slowly approaches the bobcat, offering a hand to sniff, if he wants, and more than willing to give pets and cuddles if they're wanted. "I'm not always good with names. My first thought was Jay, but if I remember right he's a tiger, not a bobcat."

The bobcat stretches up to sniff, remembering the scent from the other cuddle parties he's been at, and immediately relaxes completly; Friend J.

~He is. I am Clarien. I am the half--native one who's braids go down the back in human form. They are now the stripes upon my back. I had caried Trausio in phoenix forme once or twice.~

He makes a contented sound as he curls up again, gently butting his head against the hand; pets are permitted. As are scritches.

"Oh! Yes!" J's eyes light up in recognition. The name is familiar to her, even though she did not recognize the form right away. She folds herself to sit cross-legged on the floor, petting Clarien, and skritching behind his ears, content to see so many friends here today.

Clarien lets out a contented noise, enjoying the company, as well. It's good to see his people relax like this.

A tiny dragon flutters in and lands acros clarien's back, lying lengthwise, being cvareful not to interupt the pettin's. Ze growls plafully at the new human, then realizes who it is, and chirps a friendlier greeting. Amerji knows this onefrom long ago, and realizes that this person was the one Clarien mentioned having a comfort place.

Seeing the perch empty as Craimar has moved to perch near Trausio and Errol, xe lands there, using zir claws to groom zirself contentedly.

At the arrival of Amerji, there is a shimmer as Fuzzy J briefly shifts to Góra and back, her own dragon form much bigger and doing nothing more than taking notice of the new arrival.

J pets Clarien, and watches Amerji on zir perch, making a note to visit with zir later.

Kitty J nuzzles at Sh'lainn in a "be back soon" gesture, then trots over to the flopped down kitty. ~Kitty cuddles? Cuddles make ALL better~ Kitty J damces in place a little bit, sniffing the newcomer and waiting to see if they want cuddles.
