How do I name a language for a people without accidentally implying that they speak a recognized language? For example, to my knowledge, the elves in my world don't speak a language that elves from a different world would understand. This also leaves me trying to figure out what to call the language that the Magi speak, because while they do speak the common tongue for the realm (Drakkian) they also have their own unique language.

Other species who need language names:
Giants
Dragons (And other mythical beasts such as griffins and pixies. Currently, I believe they can all communicate with one another so the language would be common among them.)
Dwarves
Trolls
