fuzzyredOnce again, ysabetwordsmith is holding a half-price sale in Polychrome Heroics. The sale runs until Sunday, and the quarter price discount is available if more than $100 is spent.
I'm happy to run a pool this time, if anyone is interested. I will close the pool on Saturday evening, so that the funds can be forwarded in a timely manner and things can get posted as soon as possible. I get my contract bonus from work tomorrow, so I have more funds available than normal. The target list will appear below.
As always, if you are contributing funds, you can suggest a poem you would like to sponsor, even if it isn't one of the pool targets. Any little bit helps, so even if you only have a small amount, you can still participate.
Targets:
I'm going to go for both China's Mistake poems and as many of the Rutledge poems as I can fund. I would also like to sponsor a Shiv poem, though which one depends on how much money comes in and where people's preferences lie. If anyone wants to join in, let me know and I'll give you the necessary paypal information.
EDIT 7/21/21: In light of new information and ideas, I am going to update and focus my target list.
New target list:
Open "Come Together to Learn and Create" for microfunding. $100 to start, more if more interest pops up.
Purchase "Getting to the Next Part of Yourself" and "A Spotlight Can Change Everything," $91 total at quarter price.
Purchase "A Vibrant Symbolm of the American Dream," $83.75 at Q.P. This is the next poem in the series of Rutledge poems about the Syrian food truck. It also frees up the final poem in that batch for posting, which is much cheaper and potentially doable for more people.
"Without Stable Shelter" will be the stretch goal, at $133.25 Q.P.
If all of these are met and there are still funds to go around, more money can go towards "Come Together to Learn and Create" and/or to any other poems that might strike someone's fancy. Buy all the poetry!
