Belated Weekly Update

My camping trip went fantastically. My sister and I had a great time, we managed to have food even though the fire was giving us a hard time, and it was so beautiful and peaceful up there. Definitely worth the five hour drive and it was some much needed time off work. Bruce Peninsula National Park is a place I could see being better on subsequent visits; the first one to see all the sites, and following ones to actually take time to just relax and enjoy the nature.

Work has been okay this week, with only minor stupidities. I'm doing okay with getting stuff done, but I'm still having some motivation issues. I did buy a cookbook for Food Fest Bingo and I'm looking forward to going through it and finding new recipes.

I've got a few plans this weekend to see family and friends, so I'm looking forward to that, and hopefully some time to relax too.

Yay! Got to see a dear friend last weekend, but the three-plus-hour-each-way drive was A Bit Much, so this weekend we stay *put*... and I so grok the motivation issues; my brain felt like cotton by lunch time yesterday.

Might do some writing. I have an Idea.

Yay for seeing a dear friend, but I totally get it about the long drive and staying put this weekend. Boo for cotton brain, hopefully the weekend helps you recharge.
