(Belated) Weekly Update

This week has been okay. Nothing terribly exciting throughout the week, though on Saturday I got together with friends and we ate delicious pie as a late celebration for Pi Day. We also played board games and chatted, so it was a good night all around. Sunday was spent mostly relaxing, which I definitely needed. I've been doing alright with daily and weekly goals, but I feel like I've missed a few this week.

I've only been to the gym once, though I do plan on going tomorrow. I'm late with this post, and I may have missed a day of yoga. Have done the dishes on all the right days, though, and worked on my socks, finished a dishcloth, and finished reading my second book of the month. All told, I'm calling this week a win.

I saw a good friend for lunch today, which was very nice, even though I ended almost 20 minutes late because I miscalculated the timing of things. I have a friend's birthday party tomorrow evening, then on Sunday I have plans to go out of town to a fiber fair. I'm really looking forward to it, since a lot of the vendors look like they very cool stuff, and my boyfriend is going to come up with me, so I will have good company as well. :) Now I just have to set a budget and manage to stick to it. XD

A fiber fair sounds like intriguing fun. I'm normally one to pick the project first, and then acquire the materials. Maybe one of these days I should attend an event like this - see if the inspiration for a project can come to me from the materials.

It was a really fun time! I definitely recommend going to one if you get a chance, if only to look at all the pretty colours. Heading in with a generic plan might be helpful, eg. "I want to make a blanket," so you at least have somewhere to start. I highly suggest going when you can have a slightly larger budget; hand-dyed yarn is *not* cheap.
