Writing while I'm at work

Work is extremely boring today, so I'm going to try my hand at writing fiction. I don't know how well it's going to work, or how long it will be, but at least it might help pass the time.

I do a lot of reading, but I'm not very good at the writing bit. It does seem like our writer friends are rubbing off on me though, so maybe it will turn out ok.

It might actually have to wait until after work, because my job is the worst combination of busy and boring, and cell phones technically aren't allowed on the floor.

I have a story taking shape in my head, I just don't know how to get it from my mental world onto paper, so to speak.

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to be out of your head and onto something someone else can read. Editing is for later.

Life side-tracked me, but I'm hoping I can get something written tonight. On the plus side, I figured out hoe to make the story happen in my head like they usually do, instead of writing it from scratch, which is better than when I first started.

Well, I put up the first bit of story, so I suppose we'll see.

But now, I need to go and check to make sure the post isn't set to private...
