I'm going to try a thing! I know I'm late to the party but after reading Ysabet's post about NaNoWriMo, I am inspired to try writing a thing. I have no idea what this thing will be yet but I figure I will start small. I'm going to try to develop a setting, some character profiles and an outline or at least a plot of some sort, lol. It definitely will not be novel length (probably ever) since it will be my first attempt at writing something, but maybe I can get a couple thousand words and a complete story out of this.

To everyone else who is participating, good luck! I know you can do this!

As a side note, if you need cheerleaders, proof readers, or just someone to rant to, I can do all of these things. Stay sane people, and have fun! :D

I don't have one yet but if I make one, I'll let you know. Thanks for the support! I've made some progress on preliminary things, though I don't have any actual story written yet. I'm still hopeful though.

I was going to try to keep my first project small, but I'm pretty sure the story I want to tell is not a small one. Nothing like jumping right in the deep end. Good thing I know how to swim :p
