Comfort Corner

The carpet is thick, soft and cream coloured, while the walls are a yellow bronze colour. In the corner along one wall there is a large sofa, able to seat 4 or 5 people comfortably. Along the other corner wall there is a smaller sofa for 2 or 3 people. In the middle of the furniture, there is a low, round coffee table, perfect for colouring at or for other craft activities.

There is a scratching post and a cat tree for climbing, which are both along the wall opposite the couch. A few fluffy beds have also been put out, in varying sizes, in case any one prefers the floor. There is also a large sturdy perch and a marked off area that says "Landing Pad" in case any winged friends want to visit.

There is now a blue chaise chair in the nook as well, which has been placed near the couch and is good for both sitting and spreading out lengthwise.

There are two baskets off to the side. One contains fuzzy blankets, a variety of fuzzy and textured pillows, and a collection of stuffed animals while the other contains a variety of art supplies, ranging from colouring pages and blank paper to crayons and coloured pencils, and more besides.

J smiles to see Morgan relaxed, with the cat, the book and the cards. She looks on in curiosity, watching as Morgan spins out the story with the cards.

Fire whickers gently and nuzzles against Errol's hand, before delicately taking the apple from Shyra and crunching on it. ~~Nice person, yummy treats, we all run?~~ Fire finishes her treat and waits to see if her friends want to play outside with her.

Morgan puzzles over the ending a bit, then manages to finih the story, picking up the cards and reshuffling them back into place.

She puts the book down, then curls up to nap a bit.

~Yes!~ Shyra's hooves drum the grown as she dances excitedly.

Errol chuckles, ~Yes, running sounds good.~

Trausio has placed herself on the shaize, wings folded comfortably behind her, and a grin on her face.

J grins and offers a soft "Well done" to Morgan, having enjoyed the card version of the story. She is equally happy to see the other girl comfortable and relaxed enough in this space to take a nap. J picks up her current book, curls up on her own pillow, and reads quietly while Morgan has her nap.

~~I pop us outside?~~ Fire asks, intending to take the three of them out to the yard that you can see from the comfort corner, without having to navigate any stairs. She is very excited to be able to run with friends.

Fuzzy J pops her head out of the tent to wave at Trausio, glad to see her settled on the chaise, then Kitty J darts over to curl up next to Trausio and start purring contentedly.

Trausio reaches to stroke Kitty-J. ~Sh'lainn on mission with partner, says hi and misses kitty-friend who plays.~ She patts her lap, stretching her legs out so Kitty-J can take over.

Fire pops all three of them outside, whinnies, then starts running around the yard.

~Aww. See friend who plays next time? Hope mission is good. Happy see you too.~ Mrroww *Kitty J pads over to Trausio's lap and flops down, spreading herself out and purring loudly*

Errol lets out a mental 'chuckle' and begins to run, taking deep, even breaths as he does so. Followed not long after by Shira, who runs a bit mor evenly than Errrol does at first, befor Errol gets his rhythm, THe yard seems the perfect spot to just run,, nothing else needed

Fire whinnies again, and throws in a few spirited bucks as she runs, enjoying her friends company and pleasure. She doesn't get to run often, so this is very nice indeed.

(I based the description on something I've seen my grandma's new puppy do. She is a Bichon Frise/Shi Tzu mix, only about 4 or 5 pounds. she has a habit of laying on her belly with her hind legs out flat behind her, and her front legs flat out in front of her. I think "starfish!*floup*" every time I see her do it XD)

Shyra will try shifting in this space to a horse, and blink when she finds herself on four legg with her horns on either side of her ears, just on either side of her main, She whinnies in a bright sens of joy as she runs up next to Fire, encuraging a short race if she wishes.

Trausio laughs a little, rubbing Kitty-J's belly as she lays out on her lap, ~Your lap. No sharing at the moment.~ She smiles slowly.

Trausio looks over at Craimar, who's holding a falcon-shaped Kae on his fist.

~Iced coffee, love?~

Trausio nodded, ~Is he okay?~

Craimar brings over an iced mocha, nodding, ~Long flight like, he jus' restin. Decidin' to be comin' here to do it. Mind if we join ye? On yer sholders like?!~

Trausio nods. smiling a bit. ~J, you remember these two, yes?~

~~Pretty horse! Yay shift! Yes race!~~ Fire whickers and tosses her head, making her orange and red mane sparkle in the sunlight, checking to make sure Shyra is ready before she takes off at a fast canter.

*purrrrrrrrrrrrr* ~Best belly rubs! And ALL for me!~ Kitty J melts into a puddle on Trausio's lap, enjoying the attention.

"Yes, I remember them. Hello again." J smiles invitingly. "It's good to see you again, and I'm glad here is a place you can rest. There is food too, if anyone is hungry."

Shyra will whinny back, picking up the pace to match the canter, then sppeeding up slightly, but not quite to a gallop yet. As the breeze catches her mane, fire can see bits of the earth-brown among the read and gold autumnal colors leading to silver-frosted tips every once in a while.

Craimar will snag food, urging Kae to shift to elf to eat something. Kae will oblige, though not with a mental half-playful complaint.

Trausio laughs, continuing the belly rubs, enjoying the warm feel of the melted puddlecat.

Fire speeds up to match pace with Shyra, but the very pretty mane distracts her just enough that Shyra can reach the "finish line" just ahead of Fire.

J smiles to see the exchange between those two, and to see them both eating something.
